Riccardo Morganti – The guru of Paintless Dent Removal
A love of cars and all things automotive has remained a strong part of Riccardo’s life since he was a boy, growing up knee-deep in grease in his father’s workshop.
Alongside his father, well-known mechanic and car salesman Frank Morganti, Riccardo began a mechanic apprenticeship, before advancing his career in car spray painting.
In the late ‘90s, Riccardo travelled to the United States to complete training in the art of Paintless Dent Removal — the specialised technique of massaging dents out without affecting the original paint finish.
The training gained Riccardo an accreditation in the trade, and has resulted in him being recognised as one of Tasmania’s best, if not the best, in Paintless Dent Removal.
In 1997, Riccardo opened Mr Dingo-Go, as a mobile dent removal business, before he opened the workshop on the corner of Bathurst and Balfour Streets.
The Mr Ding-Go is now an iconic symbol when driving through to Launceston City.
Riccardo’s high standard of customer service and satisfaction, as well as his unique skillset, has seen Mr Ding-Go grow from a humble one-man business, to a busy workshop of local workers servicing the Tasmanian community.
